About
Africa Photo and Film Academy (A.P.F.A.) is a non profit innovative training programme, for rural African young people with passion in digital media production, providing them with learning opportunities in photography and filmmaking . We wanted to create a platform for disadvantaged girls that would bring them together, then equip and prepare them with skills for the industry. The unique part of this programme is that they learn by doing, providing them with a hands on experience and developing their skills, knowledge, passion and creativity. It also gives them a professional network of contacts because we have T.V. practitioners who have endorsed the programme and they regularly volunteer their time and come to mentor young peple.young people.
